I wasted no time standing up and extending a hand to him so that I could help him do the same. “That sounds like a good idea.” I was quick about moving the idea along, I wanted to help him find his way around but I didn’t want to force it. So I tried to get our next objective going before he changed his mind.

I took her hand and stood up, being a bit wobbly on my feet from having my legs crossed. "This school needs to downsize. They could fit the entire population of my home town in the gym." The town I had originally come from was a small close knit community. Everyone knew all your secrets.

I laughed remembering just how small it was there, and that he may be right. “Ya know, now that you mention it I really wouldn’t doubt that to be a fact.” When he took my hand I gave it a gentle grip to show that I would like to keep it but if he wasn’t enthused about walking around the school holding hands he could withdraw his.

I shivered at the thought. "All the creepy little old ladies. I remember when you were just a little kid playing in my rose garden." I mocked. Nothing disturbed me more than the staring elderly ladies. It seemed like they were trying to decide if they wanted to spray you with a watering hose or try to entice you over to do something for them.

I couldn’t hold back the rather squeaky laugh that occurred when I found something so funny that I ran out of breath and began to squeak. I used my free hand to cover my mouth to muffle the sound till it stopped. Then I looked up to Shannon a streak of red running across my face. I let my hand fall but my eyes looked sheepishly apologetic.

I smiled mischievously. "Ooh... I found myself a squeaky toy." I prodded gently at her side, attempting to bring about the sound again. I had found myself a source of entertainment and I intended to make the most of it.

I squeaked a few times after the poking ensued. I tried not to let my little quirk out into the open but it seems it was a secret no more. After I let go of his hand I scooted away from his prodding finger and let loose of a pathetic whine of sorts. “Shaaannon…I no wants to be poked.” I pouted childishly and held my sides, shortly after a smile broke out onto my face.

I ceased the poking and mock rolled my eye. "God, fine." I crossed my arms across my chest, fighting the ridiculous smile. I put my hands in my pockets, shaking my bangs from my eyes. "At least I have blackmail now. I'm sure Jase would be thrilled to find out..." I threatened lightly.

I shifted my glance back and forth, my wide eyes showing my inner horror. At this point I couldn’t be sure if he would share that with Jase or not. “Shannon, you really wouldn’t would you?” I took one of his hands and held it with the slightest bit of force.

"Hmm..." I pretended to consider it for a minute even though I really didn't need to. "I guess not. But I can always have it to hold over you." I teased lightly, ruffling her hair. "Just remember that if you ever feel the need to oppose me." I winked, not intending to ever use it against her.

I rolled my eyes, suddenly very relieved that he didn’t actually intend to tell Jase. To move off base of the topic I pointed out random classrooms, and gave a bit of a Bio on each of the teachers. “ So now that you know a little more about Bellvue, you now have even more of a reason to hate it.” I took his hand again; trying to give him a positive aspect to his day, granted holding hands was such a thing.

I gave her a thumbs up and an overly energetic smile. I truly didn't care for this place, and that action showed it. I likened the feeling of being here to watching someone step on a kitten. Full of unhappiness and despair and just generally bad emotional vibrations. I abruptly stopped that train of thought before it got any weirder.

I couldn’t help but laugh at his little display of over joy. It gathered the attention of more then a few people passing by, but that didn’t bother me. “Maybe today after school I should take you somewhere, I’m not sure where, but you need to get out and do something.” I gave his hand a small squeeze before tugging him along a little ways to remove him from the sight of some girls that I rather disliked.

"Hooray for doing something!" I had been so lazy the past week I almost felt angry with myself. I hadn't worked on anything in my studio and all I had done was despair over the school situation. I had a habit of doing that. Falling into a state of near-vegetative when I was unhappy about something.

“Your enthusiasm gives me an idea, what do you say we hijack a plane and fly out to the Bermuda Triangle?” This time I was the one being weird, but it was fun. I was thinking about the not having to come back to Bellvue, we would be lost at sea after all, just like the 8000 people before us.
